Located in Toronto, Havergal is a leading independent school for girls that focuses on the support and development of the “whole girl” – students who are emotionally, spiritually and intellectually evolved. With that in mind, Wunderkind set out to build a creative campaign that leveraged Havergal’s most distinctive assets, i.e., the rich educational experience and exquisite physical campus.
Using the Structural Mapping Process™, we revealed Havergal’s underlying brand DNA of purpose and values-driven support of its students, which led to the development of the evocative “Joy of Being Girl” campaign that launched in September of 2010, and a follow up print campaign in 2015.
Since then, Havergal has seen record-breaking attendance at events and recruitment numbers have far exceeded those of previous years, while student, parent, and alumnae enthusiasm for the campaign runs high. Havergal College is now clearly “the school to beat” and has set a new bar of quality for communications in the independent school category.
